Turned some sketchbook paper and spare craft paper into a notebook for my first attempt at book binding. Going to turn it into a small scrapbook for my grandfather.

I need to keep reminding myself that I have to ship all this stuff across the country and to make make the package too large or heavy, lol.

Working on a tiara headband for my sister's birthday. I hand-beaded pastel glow in the dark glass beads in a pattern loosly inspired by Van Gogh's Starry Night. The main beaded portion is finished and I'm really proud of it ☺️

Glued the handmade appliqués in place so they don't slide around while I sew them on. 2 done, 24 to go. Then I need to sew on the beads and make the ties for the front.
The tulle is all wrinkled bc I keep man-handling it while sewing but I'll steam it when I'm done.

Got an ita backpack for my mom (she's an elementary teacher) and I'm so excited to decorate it! Her classroom theme is pond animals, so I'm going to make a water themed insert for the bottom pocket and a grass themed insert for the top.

Got my embroidery machine up and running again temporarily and made some appliques for the capelet.
I've also got a bunch of beads and rhinestones to sprinkle into the design as well.
