It's weird to do this *after* clearing the floor of all the Best Buys so there's almost nothing to browse. It feels like going into a late stage Radio Shack.

It's basically just a place to pick up orders now, so what's the point in trying to bring in foot traffic?

Probably ranking American Idiot over Insomniac.

Do you also by any chance like your chicken fried, cold beer on a Friday night, and the radio up?
April 11, 2025 at 10:44 PM
Cuttin' stuff.
April 11, 2025 at 10:24 PM
I totally get the joke here and don't even need it explained to me.

I do need a knife though.

Just do what they did to Pennywise.
April 10, 2025 at 1:21 PM
You're still allowed to like them even if they're a complete manufacturing job. People don't really seem to have this issue with The Sugarhill Gang, for example.

I feel like this is a great time to remind him he's fantasizing about a trans allegory, which is 100% what the matrix is about.
April 2, 2025 at 12:03 PM
Not really. He looks like a gated community hick-fuck cosplayer to me, and he sounds even more like one.

Source: am casual hick-fuck

The racist part seems dead on though. Say anything about the president's dead brother for example (which is far in the past) and watch the hypocrisy fester.

All those perjoratives and not a single hurt feeling. Interesting.

What's next on the identity crisis wagon, a new cybertruck?
April 1, 2025 at 5:35 PM
You know you could just yell "I'M NOT BRIAN POSEHN" into an empty bucket and have the same exact effect as your midlife crisis gym selfies and your endless stream of disingenuous pseudo-intellectual soapbox nonsense.
April 1, 2025 at 3:52 PM
If this is the best soundbite y'all could muster up, I can only imagine how toothless the rest of that 14 hrs felt.

At least it's something, I guess.

Everybody I know who goes to food banks voted for Trump. I'm sure they'll find a way to blame Biden for this too.

This book changed my life.

Well Sam Beckett can't quantum leap without fixing whatever is wrong in that person's life first, so congratulations to Zach on that one.

I'd be selling my company stock while he spoke, maybe even right as he was begging everybody not to.
March 21, 2025 at 12:10 PM
I don't know if the poor screenshot job is meant as an extension of those exceptional graph skills, but either way it's working.
March 19, 2025 at 7:06 PM
It's the only logical explanation.
March 19, 2025 at 4:14 PM
...and criticism of this practice would not be a criticism of the technology itself but instead its use. Live music is pretty fucking cool. Recorded/programmed music is pretty fucking cool too.

Your position here essentially bans all recorded music from your platform, metaphorically speaking.
March 14, 2025 at 6:24 PM
And you seem to ignore or miss the point I'm making.

Someone who played recorded music in their establishment would historically be putting the very person on the recording out of current work, while they play for change on the sidewalk and the owner/label benefits from their prior exploitation.
March 14, 2025 at 6:21 PM
Your enforcement of it (or your stated policy) leans away from nuance and encourages the sort of misunderstanding that luddite = antitech.

No offense or real criticism intended at all by any of this from me by the way. I'm just saying how I feel about the knee-jerk stuff I tend to see more often.
March 14, 2025 at 5:36 PM
That there's nuance and even people who draw harsh anti-tech lines sometimes cross them whether they realize it or not.

Plenty (justifiably) would've had similar feelings about the advent of recorded music, photography, or textile machinery - people think luddites were antitech instead of prolabor.

Before you even do the search, Google is running "generative ai" while predicting what your next word will be as you type.

I also wouldn't doubt if this image was made using a program that has an autofill function, or if it was pointed out that some of that circuit in the background is copy/pasted
