Ruben saying that Mainoo has to fight with Bruno to get into the starting eleven means that Mainoo will barely play this season. Bruno is never getting benched and never gets subbed. I feel for the guy. He’ll probably get a run out against Grimsby. #MUFC

Even if Baleba isn’t happening this year, we still need a midfielder. Casemiro and Ugarte can’t cut it for a season. Simon Stone linked us to Hjulmand. I don’t think Hjulmand is the answer, but he seems to be better than what we’ve got. #MUFC (1/2)

I never watched #KingoftheHill growing up, but I binged it recently. Today the series returned with its fourteenth season and it’s so great to have these characters in the modern day. It’s not a perfect revival, but it’s very good and my biggest complaint is that there’s not more episodes.
Newcastle throwing as much money at Leipzig as they can to price out #MUFC and for Leipzig to put pressure on Sesko. £78M total package for a player that scored 13 goals in the Bundesliga last season is insane. We should walk away from this. I’d love for us to go in for Watkins.

We need a striker, whether it be Sesko or Watkins, we need somebody. Throwing Mbeumo and Cunha there takes so much away from what they and have brought to the team.

We need a striker, whether it be Sesko or Watkins, we need somebody. Throwing Mbeumo and Cunha there takes so much away from what they and have brought to the team.

Overall it was a good preseason tour and for two of the three matches, we looked infinitely better than last season.
However, tonight in many ways felt like a revert back to our form last season at times and a far cry from the other matches. Sluggish, pragmatic and disjointed. Disappointing. #MUFC
