Tabletop Gold has a great podcast of the Abomination Vaults. They used Pew, Pew as the Magic Missile sound first. At one point Tril the Gnome had a choice of using a turn to swim or cast Magic Missile. She chose Magic Missile as one should, and started to sink, while keeping her lute dry.
