Fortunately, I haven't set foot in one since employees at our local branch hounded some Guatemalan roofers out of the store for asking if they could use the Western Union there to send money to their families. We now have an employee-owned Kinney Drug.

I think one thing is already clear: the Republicans WILL fuck with the midterms. We need to be ready for that/start recruiting observers of the observers at the polls NOW, and inviting international observers wouldn't be a bad idea.

"lost", not "list". But seriously, what did these idiots think was going to happen to Gaza if Trump won? At least we had a chance, with Harris, to change her mind/save some lives. The decision to "sit this one out" had a huge part in putting a fascist regime in power. Fairly unforgiveable, really.

The people who list us the last election were the pompous, self-righteous, unthinking people who were (rightfully) angry that Harris, Biden and the old guard Dems weren't standing against Netanyahu the genocide in Gaza and (wrongly/spectacularly selfishly) sat the election out in "protest".

And I am weary of journalists repeating the rubbish that the reason so many people voted the GOP's monster in AGAIN was because they felt they'd do better economically under Trump. They voted him in because he gave them permission to be greedy, vengeful bigots and he promised to make that the norm.

Well presented article, but it really doesn't convince me of much regarding the why and how of Trump. He's more of a monster albatross - hundreds of dead pigeons sewn together and reanimated by a 'party' of greedy, vengeful, eternally angry bigots still angry that we elected a Black potus, twice.
