I’ve been a Halsey fan for more than a decade but this is the first time I’m seeing them live. SO hype for tonight’s concert.🥹🙏🏾 Treated myself to the full VIP experience and am making sure to look the part. 💜✨

Serendipity is closing a chapter of nine years and also by chance cutting off nine inches of hair. For those who may not yet know, I have accepted an offer at another publisher and as of last Friday am no longer a part of First Second.

A few days from turning 30 my dululu has upped another level. I decided that outside of my 9-5 GN editor career and my writing career, I want to model again (I did it as a kid). I am nothing close to what agencies want but I won’t know if I don’t try! Also I feel like another person w/o my glasses!

My first original picture book has finally been announced! I’ve been working on this manuscript for a year or so, and am so proud on where we landed. It’s an honor fellow Dominican and wonderful artist Richy Sanchez Ayala has joined the project to bring the story to life! ☺️🇩🇴

Went to an artist’s flash tattoo event to raise money for children of Palestine and got this lovely freehand of keffiyeh symbols. Also a very cool shirt. ☺️🇵🇸🍉
