What was your favourite route?

Day 1 was getting down a route that would get it us to final day in a good shape. Overnight figured out the obvious gimmick of the curse, so things got smoother from there.

Of course, there's a lot of verticality and the castle areas are huge, I imagine there are more secrets to find.

Sadly, the N64 port was full of compromises.

The background quality and resolution is lower.
The FMV cutscenes are severely cut back.
Even the soundtrack is simplified, just to name a few.

As neat of an "impossible port" it was, I wouldn't recommend it as first impressions. Fun as a novelty, tho.

And unlike most walkthroughs, I've covered all 3 additional endings, even the uncommon one.

When the English patch was released I've created an exploration-focused, no damage walkthrough for the game.

I also did a co-stream with Gemini later on to talk about the game in general.

The area is good at playing tricks on the player with its triggers.
Once the darkness kicks in, going back puts you in another area that has the retreat blocked.
Upon the body discovery, you get the famous "Blocked by a fence?" swapped in too.

If you have a PC/Android, then dropping ePSXe in favor of DuckStation would be a better choice.

For PS2, PCSX2 on PC is the sole option.
