Getting closer to my ultimate goal of replacing my soul with coffee and becoming immortal. Lover of all the Star Wars.
“Hi Bob, here’s a brown bag full of money.”

“I can’t see any money. All I see is a brown bag”

“The money is inside. Look, I’ll open it for you”

“But now it’s just an open brown bag. Where’s the money?”

“It’s inside”

“It doesn’t make any sense. Bring me something that looks like money.”

So glad I’m not the only person struggling to find a reason for this book existing. A whole chapter detailing every day over a 3 week period that can be boiled down to “Insiders continue to live in denial”.
Shout out to Tapper’s inference that the Jan 6ers pardon was Biden’s fault.

Absolutely! Solo would have performed way better if they’d left it for the end of the year.

As a Star Wars fan I fucking hate the obvious special treatment given to Disney’s favourite child. Christmas had been a great place for Star Wars. Each of the films made $1b+. Iger’s irrational push to bring Star Wars back to May is what killed Solo in theatres.

The author of the article didn’t even bother to watch the TED. Bredow points out - several times - that this was just a proof of concept.

It’s like complaining animatics don’t look finished.

No shit!

Cassian: Cinta.

Vel: … and let’s not forget Aargrot the Leming, z’aargyhTh, Flim-Flam Zoot.

Cassian: Who the fuck are they?

Vel: I don’t know. Social media said it would make sense.

Appreciate your insight.

My only real problem with #Andor are all the pretentious assholes it has drawn out who now feel compelled to comment on #StarWars as a whole.

I more get pissed at the old fans. The ones who have come back to revisit Star Wars because of Andor but then use it as an opportunity to tear down the rest of the franchise.

I’ve found that most of the fans who want this don’t follow Star Wars anymore. Andor has rekindled their love and made the galaxy relevant again. But most of the rest of us are grateful to have such a wonderful series as a part of an already deep and rich collection.

That’s going to be hard to fit in when Lucasfilm announce her new show:

Hutt Slayer Kleya - a Star Wars Story

It’s not too bad. It kinda has all the same failings as the prequels. Little Leia is the highlight though.

Crazy. It’s like when I think about my wife and I in high school. She was a junior in year 8, I was a senior in year 12.

To clarify: We didn’t actually meet until we were both in our 20s.

Mando 1 & 2 and Skeleton Crew. Neither are at the same level as Andor but they’re both very Star Wars (in the traditional sense).

If you’re into animation, The Clone Wars (series) is also excellent.

I enjoy the irony of how Partagaz refers to disorder and chaos as a disease, yet the real cancer proves to be the ceaseless need for control. Smarter and cunning officers (Dedra, Blevin) eat each other for power. Ultimately, only bumbling incompetents are left to pick up the pieces.

I do hope in years to come fans will look back on Kathleen Kennedy’s role in this transition period and focus more on the positive impact she has had.
