The future-time is related to the different possibilities that consciousness can assume as it evolves. From a present-time perspective, there are only chances, not certainties. This is exactly what happens in quantum world, where all that exists are probabilities of events occurring, not certainties

The only thing we actually possess are the memories recorded in our consciousness, which arise from experiences acquired throughout life.
In this sense, what we actually have and what defines us is the accumulation of memories recorded in our consciousness.

At this point, there is a clash between the relative reality created by the physical senses — external and impermanent — and the absolute reality experienced by consciousness — internal and permanent —.

However, in the realm of consciousness, all that exists is the present time and nothing else. Therefore, the perception and existence of time no longer have meaning, as in physics. (+)
