Hello! I'm finally on bluesky with everyone else! I figure since my Instagram is only finished work, I'd like to use this app to post works in progress & show more of my drawing process. So here's a piece I've been working on, currently on the back-burner, but excited to explore these colors more!

Roots of Rot, a roughly 1 hour character design based on a picture I took of some flowers near my apartment.
I drew some initial concepts for a hypothetical video game boss, Prince Chitin. I love the design language of crabs, and trying to fit that onto a humanoid form was a lot of fun. Planning on taking this a lot further, so stay tuned!

Here are some quick environment studies. Each sketch took 15 minutes, so one hour in total. I've been wanting to get better at quickly blocking in environments, and I'm pretty happy with these. Trying to communicate the texture of the boulders with different brushes was a fun challenge.
