The Trumpist federal government has extrajudicially executed Renee Good and Alex Pretti in the same manner and with the same dearth of justifying evidence as it has killed over 100 unknown men on drug boats. We should find a legal framework for resisting but expect more killings.

I liked Zelensky best when he stood up to Trump and Vance in February. He’s good at standing up to bullies.
I don’t believe in the Great Man theory either, and Zelensky’s rise to power was facilitated by the oligarch who aired his TV show.
He’s the hero, but i suspect his motives are complex.

She‘s right that white men have killed more people than black men, though this is a misleading statement since there are many more white men than black men in the United States.
