What about Amazon? A large number of VENDORS are in the PRC, not just manufacturers. Is Bezos going to start disconnecting from them and supporting more small American businesses?

Because we're only the good guys if it benefits us? Or maybe they should get a credit for every Russian soldier killed or wounded, and every Russian military vehicle and weapon system destroyed.

Yes, I agree. I consider myself strictly on the "demand" side of the IT &data industries, so I don't know how invasive that data collection goes. Does it include technical data from personal devices, networks, and infrastructure? Can you point me to a good resource where I can learn more?

I've spent 26 years in the intelligence & national security communities, the last 8 in cyber warfare. I'm not saying you're wrong, but there are other factors at play that aren't public. It goes beyond the courts. China is getting very adept at legal warfare, in addition to cyber warfare.

Just because the information isn't in the public sphere, doesn't mean it's "speculative". Seriously, giving a hostile foreign power unlimited access to personal and technical data from devices and connected networks and infrastructure is a very bad idea. Check out Salt Typhoon.

Preventing a hostile foreign power from conducting espionage against dissidents, industrial, and national security targets is not censorship. There are other platforms which aren't agents of a foreign power. They're free to use those.

Yes. It’s because for the 4th time in 34 years, the largest country on Earth invaded a peaceful neighbor and began killing, raping and destroying to annex territory and pillage resources while claiming to be the victim. How is this hard?
