Gopher Tortoise. Threatened due to habitat loss. Live in a protected sanctuary in my parents neighborhood. They are important for many animal spieces coexistence. snakes, small mammals, other amphibians…this one was 12 +/-inches long. It moved about 800 yards by the time I circled back on my walk.

Confirmed ICE deportation flight touching down ~11:05am today. It will land at Signature Aviation's private terminal. Detainees will be moved from Whipple and other detention centers, shackled in the cold, then flown off to Louisiana and elsewhere.

My husband planned to retire in December. I'm not eligible for Medicare until Aug so I planned to get an Obamacare policy. I found one in Oct that was $800/month. Now it's $2000/month.
