A new feature in our #Cardinals coverage at StlToday launched last night, and you can expect it after most games this season — delivered to you online just like a paper would arrive at your door, and similar in look too.

I know you’re trying to play gotcha, once or twice misrepresenting my phrasing in that attempt.

These things can all be true:

Carlos Beltran can be the former star for an AL team and also confound the Cardinals in the NLCS.

Pedro Strop can be a former closer who also helped eliminate Cardinals.

Pedro Strop was (briefly) the Cubs closer.

He was indeed part of the game that eliminated the Cardinals from the playoffs. The photo is above.

So, I ask again …

I notice that you have yet to answer my question, ignoring or avoiding it: Based on your standard, which of the above sentences are false?

While we await your answer, please revisit what I wrote so that you can accurately quote it, which you did not above. Here is the photo:

In this brand new episode of #BPIB, I detail my ballot for the 2025 class of the National Baseball Hall of Fame.

There was the rush to vote for Ichiro and then the question of modern starting pitchers. Here is the podcast -- and my completed ballot: www.stltoday.com/sports/profe...

USC has a #stlcards logo on a play card. Any guesses what the play is?

Enjoy a heaping slice of good ol’ baseball lore this holiday with the tale of Turkey Mike Donlin.

He hit .323 as a rookie in 1899 for the team about to become the Cardinals.

But first he had to get out of jail. And that’s just the beginning!

Happy Thanksgiving.

Catching up on letters and scribbling on cards. It’s still a thrill to receive these @topps Allen & Ginter cards in the mail to sign, even 4+ years later. Unless I’m 4+ years behind on mail …

My utterly imperfect, completely debatable, properly defendable Class of 2024 Hall of Fame ballot.

Belatedly, I know. Now available for your comments, complaints, and criticism, here @stltoday:
