There’s a movie on Netflix called Kate that is like a Jason statham movie but stars a woman she is much better. I had a blast watching it

If you’re describing what’s happening today as ‘fighting’ then please stop, step down and let someone else fight instead.

But even before 2024, the exam wasn’t focused on building critical thinking skills very much. The free response parts are more about whether the student can tailor their response to the prompt’s specific wording, and don’t require much in depth knowledge or thinking.

As someone who primarily teaches AP gov, I fully agree with this. Especially since 2024, when college board made it a lot easier to pass the exam, and scores jumped from around 50% passing to over 75%, and many of my students talked about how easy the new exam was.

Interesting article. I’m extremely antisocial outside of work and I strongly prefer that, but I can see how this is negative for society overall. And the AI section of the article is horrifying. Thanks for sharing

As an AP government teacher, I have serious doubts about the senator’s reading comprehension.

It might be interesting to interview Michael Pollan, not sure if he counts as hippie-left coded or not but I think he’s left leaning and he’s a prominent critic of gmos and industrial agriculture
