30+ years in the veterinary field. Not a doctor. Fond of pitties, poetry, and kittens. Finds joy in the small things. No pasaran!
I'm working over the weekend (veterinary assistant), but I'll time it for my next day off. Thank you!

Trust me, there are benefits to a Sunday shift. This is one of our newest rescue patients. Just over three months old.

She was darling, and didn't touch the floor her whole visit. She was just so sweet!

Not mine, but one of our regular veterinary patients. I agree wholeheartedly!

This is one of our newer kitten rescues. He has a bit of an eye infection, but it's very treatable and his new family loves him dearly. He decided my arm made a good resting place during the initial exam.

My orange girl? From cuteness maybe!

I recommend kittens. One of our newer rescue patients. Doing well!

One of our older Shih Tzu patients, and she is just as sweet as she looks.

A rescue baby from this past weekend. About 5 weeks, and 8 ounces. Found in a client's truck engine. They love him dearly. ❤️

Or kittens. Meditating on kittens is good. Our newest car rescue, or truck in his case. A bit of an eye infection, but nothing that isn't fixable.

Seriously? I just turned 60, and I look better than him. This is with one of our older Shih Tzu patients. She has anxiety issues, if not held by her mom or someone else.

By the way, this has been hanging all month in the front lobby of our veterinary clinic.

Would a kitten help?

So many lovely babies this year!

I mean....this is part of my job. 😁

New rescue kitten at the clinic I work for.
June 15, 2025 at 10:38 PM
Absolutely. One of our smaller patients at the veterinary clinic I work for.

Does someone else's count? This is a coworker's pup at the veterinary clinic I work for. He is always so stylish!
June 5, 2025 at 12:40 AM
She was so calm and adorable. Practically fell asleep on my chest.

Can I offer you one of our veterinary patients in this trying time? Just came in yesterday for a health exam. Her name is Lola Mae.

If I can't have kittens or puppies, I don't want masculinity. Yes, he is that small. One of our more recent rescues at the veterinary clinic I work for.
May 25, 2025 at 11:12 PM
I mean, you aren't wrong. A car engine rescue from earlier this year, snuggling with one of my coworkers. Thankfully, there were no injuries, and her new parents love her.
May 21, 2025 at 11:45 PM
Just me, with one of our newer kitten rescues. Very very young, but in good hands. His new parents love him dearly. Yes, he is that small!

It isn't always puppies and kittens, but occasionally it is. What I love is that they are so tiny and young, but you can definitely tell there is *someone* there already. One of the great pleasures of the work.

A revolution with no room for cats isn't a revolution. This is Momo, and he is one of our newest kittens at the veterinary clinic I work for. Very new, at just over three weeks.

I deal with puppies and kittens who are more organized.

This amazing American Bulldog puppy at the veterinary clinic I work for. Four and a half months old. Such a little potato!
