Look, in recent history, the Dems have never been a party with a capital P like the GOP. Dems are more like a loose confederation of people with views about policy that are not represented by the GOP.

I was just in my local game shop last Wednesday. D&D tables were packed with young people having fun. I don't think they were having fun wrong.
My D&D table only changes as much as I do. If 1st Ed has good bits on exploring, use those bits. If 5e has bits for story dev, use those bits, too.
