Not quite sure we want to start Eze in his first ever game for Arsenal at Anfield. He has only been here for a week. Arteta might want to bring him on later in the game, I would think

A well-run, opportunistic club could try and swoop in for this guy before he gets regular playing time (next season would be my guess) and his price explodes. Reminds me a little of Barcola.

Frankfurt might be tempted to sell at a reasonable price since they have Diakhon coming in.

Curious to hear if you’ve come across Cyriaque Irie from Troyes (I know he just moved to Germany). Quite a unique stats profile and judging from the little tape I have seen looks kinda Rafa Leao-esque with his size, speed and nimbleness. Target man and tricky winger rolled into one

/ + fulbacks. We could ~sort of replicate this by getting a left winger with elite 1v1 and ball carrying ability as well as a quick and powerful 9 (writing this makes me kinda intrigued to see Nelli at 9 with a dynamic lw (Nico Williams))

Also on that note: could we overcome/bypass the lack of dribbling ability and dynamism in midfield by maxxing out these traits in attack? PSG for example despite loads of technical ability in midfield does not have a lot af dynamism here. Their transition threat is entirely dependent on the front 3

I know you discussed this a bit already, but with Zubi likely coming in, how do we fit him, Rice and Ødegaard into the same midfield?
May 15, 2025 at 4:42 PM
Not at the 6 position. Sure, I’d like to see Rice as the deeper midfielder with a more offensively gifted 8 coming in, but since we’re going for Zubimendi he’s quite clearly meant for the 6 (or a double pivot at least). I would not like Stiller as a 6 for my club

Are you not concerned about Stiller’s ability without the ball? I understand the appeal because his passing and playmaking absolutely pops off the charts but I would be very, very uncomfortable with the defensive side of football if he was in my team.

Another fluke win tbh. Incredibly lucky that Michael Storer is not here today

Lewis-Skelly will have LB minutes in the short term and Nwaneri RW and perhaps even F9 or LW minutes as well. Dowman just turned 15. It wont get messy for at least a few years and that is no good reason to not do the deal if you like the player and the price imo

What blockage? Do you think he will take minutes from Nwaneri or am I misunderstanding something?

Not transfer-related but do any of the Pot Shot members have access to data om running? Not only distance covered but also intensity. I feel like Rice yesterday was the hardest running performance I can recall, honestly.

Something about him screams “15-20 goals a season for a midtable club in the Bundesliga” in a few years

Wdym it’s litterally just a picture of Arteta?
