He's better than Barry and Beto but as others have said, he wanted a decent amount to sign and was right to move on. He'd walk in our side now though

Grealish's form has massively dropped off too. Ndiaye by far our most effective player but can't do it all. There's a number of issues but couldn't all be solved at once. I actually think fbs are the biggest issue

Didn't work v palace although on paper seems decent. I think we look v lightweight in cm. Id go KDH, Alcaraz, Garner but without gueye I think we struggle

I think leaving at HT is a bit much. 3-0 leads, however unlikely, have been overturned before. I don't blame anyone for leaving when that 4th goes in. If anything it's the ultimate statement to the players that it's not good enough. It was also cold, damp and transport is a nightmare.

I absolutely think he'll be a good player. Was well chuffed for him today, so much better. My point was around his social media only. Performance v good today. Of course, respect yours too.

I just don't see the benefit as a professional sportsman. Not good at all for MH, open yourself up to all sorts of nonsense. He's young and being poorly advised (or not advised)

Yeh you're right. I'm unsure even the most patriotic welshman would consider winning a world cup with Wales and actual possibility but your point stands. I just think it's unrealistic to expect a lad from Sunderland to have that perspective. I also don't think it diminishes him for us either

Just another 20+million forward. In this fee category they're all risks but may as well keep rolling the dice. I think Barry needs more than 3 starts though before he gets written off. He looked similar on YouTube and had played a much higher level too

Think that's to be expected. He's not an evertonian like we are. Most players dream would be to win the world cup.

Barry scores and it's basically game over. Fine margins. 12 points isn't the return we wanted at this stage but we're creating chances at a much higher level than anytime in the last 3/4 years. It's a tough league, lots of good sides. I agree that we now need to stick with Barry
