Shetland. Many hats (not literal). Renewables, Sports, Charities, Governance. Good at thinking what to say then not saying it.
Wanted to let this settle for a moment to see if what followed rose to the occasion but I think many years from now this image will be as famous as the Yalta conference ones.

This Shetland Times headline seems significant. Right up until you read who it is. By my memory she’s heading for double figures of publicly threatening to leave Unst/Shetland. Change the ferry = going. Build the windfarm = going. Increase NorthLink fares = going. etc etc. Yet here she is again.

When you're openly admitting that you "can't understand how it has been possible to build this huge windfarm..." then maybe you're not the best person to be commenting on the complexities of the UK balancing mechanism.

Like often with #Shetland Times energy items, the element missing from this 'splash' is input from anyone who has the slightest clue what they're talking about. "Slashed" implies intervention rather than the actually applying market mechanisms. I might suggest "Fall" would have been closer.

We were in Man U end but a lot of Rangers fans had clearly cadged home tickets. As you’d expect reaction to equaliser (glee/open singing) and as you’d expect reaction to Bruno winner (abuse/throwing).

Not sure I can manage 4 more years of social media like this. Trying BlueSky after giving up on other platforms. It's been ok, certainly more rational, but even here proving difficult to avoid overload of Mango Mussolini. 🍊 Muting helps but still…
p.s. it was totally an unthinking fascist salute.

Hard to think of a more applicable word than hypocrisy to read this commentator bemoaning misinformation when she swallowed and regurgitated every piece of Facebook garbage about windmills going.
Evidently only cares about suspecting social media drivel when she doesn't need to rationalise a bias.

Random replies to random posts occasionally give insight to views held by others.
Unfortunately the main insight I took from the below was the mental note to refer to my son’s upper Primary class as “high grade imbeciles”. I’m a bad person.

Official Bird Rating is surprisingly high (23 out of 40) but only after casual attributes. Wouldn't be delighted to draw from pack and would need to be calling to get tactical value.
