It’s always good to try new things, and this time I tried doing some sponge painting instead of my usual airbrushing! I tried to channel some scale-modelling in with the weathering and shading on the model too. I think I achieved some pretty cool texture with the paint job

First genuine attempt at a Hot Wheels custom! Playing Wangan Midnight reignited my love of metal box that goes fast, and I found this banged up green Skyline in an old box of stuff from when I was a kid. Paint over candy coat was pretty difficult!! Hopefully more customs to come in the future.

Yes this is a joke, I know you can’t game with a big Ol’ plinth base and you can’t make gaming bases awesome too, but there’s something about working on a bigger area and build a better scene that makes plinths so fun!

Games Workshop sent me the new swooping hawks for review. The painting process is layering to map in the highlights, a little bit of stippling to help with the blending and then a load of glazing to make it look smooth. #adwip #PaintingWarhammer #WarhammerCommunity
