Gallego is right! I'm not trying to say all centrism is bad. I think Spanberger was being counterproductive taking shots at Mamdani, and it makes me question her fitness to potentially lead the national party. I wouldn't like him doing the same to her or Gallego either.

Everyone knows that, Mamdani is quoted as such in the same article. That's all she had to say. Instead she took shots at whether he's a real democrat and whether his policies will work. We lost in '16 and '24 after Dem nominees disavowed the left and campaigned with Bush daughters, Cheney, etc.

Not OP, but I didn't love her taking swipes at Mamdani for political points. I don't think the way you grow the coalition is to preemptively distance yourself from an actual democrat that voters nominated to court the mythical swing voter www.cnn.com/2025/11/03/p...
