EU5 feels like it was made by players who are nostalgic for a time when there were no guides and every game was a black box of mystery. But to account for the existence of guides, they made the actual game so complex that it's no longer fun for anybody without the "big puzzle brain" drive.

Admin is probably the most fleshed out gov type in AUH ironically. Celestial feels a bit undercooked and Southeast Asia is full of bugs. China needs another career path besides being an administrator. You basically can't play as an independent whose not part of the bureaucracy right now.

This has been a thing for years. My Taiwanese Windows didn't have it at launch though for whatever reason.

I am eagerly awaiting your review of Cargo Simulator and Medieval Crafter: Blacksmith. But if you happened to play Endless Legend 2 and think it's great that would be ok too.

NYT supports Israel and is pro Palestinian genocide, don't think that's cowardice they are part of the establishment. Pro Israel Trump's everything and all the other issues fall in line behind that. Trump could deport all minorities and NYT would support him so long as he bombed Tehran.

I have a hard time explaining this to Chinese people. They don't realize just how much of western thinking is based off of fan fiction about good and evil written thousands of years ago and their fucked up interpretations of them to justify their fucked up behavior.

Reddit's userbase is something like 50% American and the rest are a mix of Anglos/Euros and Indians. Doesn't really surprise me tbh. The site is just reflecting the sinophobia of the general western population.

The China situation looks very simplified. Much of the south was tribal at the time and semi-independent. Hope they haven't dumbed it down too much and are lazy with geopolitical situation.

CK2 is my least played PDX game yet I hold it up as the game that ended up in the best place so far. I spent so much time on EU4 but honestly most of it was waiting for war exhaustion and a multitude of timers to end. It's my least liked PDX experience by far but also the most addictive.

I've played EU4 the most as well but have the least fond memories of it out of all the PDX games that I played, even lower than Stellaris. It just seems like EU4 fizzled out at some point with the DLCs and it didn't end up in a particularly interesting place compared to say Stellaris.

I want Aztecs and Sorcery back. CK has gotten too tame.
