What breaks my heart the most is to see these kids, who in all of the cases I mentioned are super smart, suffer because they literally cannot sit down for more than 30 min. They suffer, the class suffers, the teachers all know, and there's nothing they can do.

There is a little more acceptance now for issues like depression and anxiety, but it's still hard for people to get diagnosed because of the perception and treatment of their families.

Parents here do not won't to think about their kids as being different.

I work with kids in Korea and I have students who I would recommend for adhd, dyslexia, even tic disorder diagnosis, but it's very unlikely to happen.

I fact, a lot of adhd medicine are illegal in Korea. Ask Park Bom, she got screwed over prescribed Adderall.
