An equirectangular projection of an early satellite mockup for Elskold, including the polar ice caps but not being a completely accurate representation of the local climates. However, it remains quite close to what it would look like, as Elskold is a more temperate and humid planet where vast deserts like the Sahara would not occur.

Did an Elskold satellite mockup (doesn't completely account for local climates) and put it side-by-side with Earth for comparison's sakes!

While quite similar, Elskold *does* have its own unique quirks and differences hehe

The new save/load state system is turning out well! Saving script states has been one of the messiest bits of #KatFS, but the new system should make it easier to manage (and debug)
For example, incomplete puzzles can be reset on load while finished ones load in a completed state!

Currently implementing a new system for saving and loading logic/puzzle states in #KatFS. Rather than saving states for individual script components (and hoping the spaghetti doesnt fall apart), scripts will be bundled in groups and have a series of pre-baked states which can be loaded in 😈 #gamedev

cliff climbing!

An ink pen illustration depicting part of a cliff face, comprised of an eclectic variety of jagged and geometric rock shapes, each with a tall depth. The topmost part of the cliff shown becomes precariously wider than the bottom, and seems to have shape vaguely like a bird's face. New basic skeleton animations now in-game! This also comes with a small rework on how staggers and knockback work for NPCs in #KatFS - some attacks will interrupt enemies while others will blow them off their feet entirely! 😈💥💀

My brother, as a gay man, has made it clear to me that I, as a lesbian, have a weak point when it comes to designing explicitly masculine designs; so, I'M PRACTICING NOW.

A Vevaios male ukir structural engineer from Jitu name Liem who specialises in choromancy. His most prominent catalysts are the two large mechanical gauntlets he wears.

An Epithymos male yanguanglin special ops ranger from Munur named Corvus who specialises in chemomancy. He wears chemical catalysts across his body, with a bright lantern-like chemomancy hat on his head.

My favorite puzzle in #KatFS so far: Kalia must form a path across this grid of floating platforms, hitting these totems with firebolts to move the connecting platforms. Each totem can only be hit from a single row or column.
