When I was a kid, my dad would mute the TV whenever ads were on because he didn’t want to be influenced by them to ANY degree, even subliminally or in the background

And as a content creator in 2025… I’m not gonna say I’d do the exact same thing, but I’m not gonna say I don’t get it, either

Honestly the best part about playing TTRPGs in front of a live audience as part of my job is the fact that I don’t have to do math anymore, I can just yell to the audience “WHAT’S SEVEN PLUS FIVE” and they’ll just yell the answer back and it’s my favorite thing
