Hello, Bluesky! Time for a formal introduction.

I'm Leon Barillaro (they/them), a narrative and game designer for playful mediums. I have experience in Tabletop, Video Games, and Immersive Theater. I love writing memorable characters and tough choices. And - I'm looking for work!

One of the bookshelves is a mimic in disguise, and its glowing yellow eyes stare directly at the camera

I asked willy to go get my fangamer package from the mail and when he realized what it was he threatened to throw it right in the dumpster
An enamel pin from SGDQ 2025 featuring Spamton from Deltarune. The pin says, “Summer Games Done Big!” But big is crossed out and replaced with quick. Spamton smiles and says, “Games over faster than my career.”

Don't let Silas's grin deceive you, he's never up to any good. Shyloh hates his whole demeanor (with good reason)
#art #ocs
Art of two characters, Silas is taller and has black hair, most of it is frizzed up in a curly Mohawk but the tail of it is straight and long, draping down over his shoulders. He has a feather boa, leather high waisted pants and two horns. Shyloh is dressed in dark clothing but his undercut is white with black shaved roots and he's being pulled into a headlock and trying to push himself away. There are two word.baloons, Silas is saying "hey runt." And shyloh is saying "get off me!"

At the end of the dream I fell for a childhood friend who I know for a fact lives in a city. So like. My brain was trying to tell me to move to Philadelphia I think.

A series of illustrations depicted Hornet and Shakra from hollow knight silksong redesigned as humans with their design motifs translated into clothing and armor. The first depicts a bust of Hornet removing her mask and looking stoically at the viewer, the second depicts a fullbody Hornet dashing through the air with her various pieces of gear, the third depicts a bust of Shakra unmasked and singing, and the last depicts Hornet accepting a map from a squatting Shakra. Shakra's thought bubble reads, "I'm getting so good at this 'talking to short people' thing!" and Hornet's thought bubble reads, "She's so tall and her voice is so pretty ohmygod keep it together, Hornet- I hope she's traveling the same path as I am...".

The best sword in the Timescape. The best pilot across the Stars.
These and other legends travel wide about this mysterious alien from the Lower Worlds. And they are all true.

Here’s the last Rival to complete the Agents of UNISOL: Blaze, the high elf troubadour!

I haven't done an 'inktober' in years because the concept sucks but I'm doing it this year! Gonna draw EVERY CONTESTANT from the Dragon Ball Budokai Tenkaichi tournaments (not Z!!!)
the Dragon Ball Budokai Tenkaichi tournament arena with "october" written on the sign and the tournament symbol on a pumpkin

Last night my brain took all the facts from my childhood and rearranged them to create a "city person returns to small town to rediscover what they've been missing" style romance movie. It took me hours after waking up to realize that none of those facts were remotely true.

Had a thought about this and for me I think it’s John K Samson. Aside, Reconstruction Site, Virtute the Cat. One Great City! Words that linger on my mind long after the melodies are gone — when usually it’s the other way around.

I also need to know: I am fairly middle-of-the-road on Taylor Swift but someone I know called her the Greatest Living Lyricist. She is not.

Who is yours? Either the greatest or your favorite?

TFW you paid $1400 to see Beckett’s most famous work without knowing anything about it
One Star Review of Waiting for Godot on Broadway
I recently attended Waiting for Godot on Broadway and spent over $1,400 for two Row C seats (103 and 104). I'm a longtime admirer of Broadway productions and even hold a season pass for Shea's Performing Arts Theatre, so I came in with genuine enthusiasm and high expectations. Unfortunately, this show was unlike anything ! have ever experienced —and not in a good way.
What I encountered was not the artistry, music, or emotional storytelling I usually associate with Broadway, but instead what felt like an endless cycle of nonsensical conversation between characters who seemed trapped in their own madness. I tried-truly tried-to find meaning, symbolism, or even a thread of emotional resonance. I stayed through the first half hoping the second would offer clarity. But by intermission, it was clear: this was a waste of both time and money.
Keanu Reeves is an actor I respect greatly, but I cannot fathom why he would agree to participate in such a disjointed, inaccessible production. His talent was lost in a performance that defied reason rather than provoked insight.
To anyone considering attending: unless you are drawn to highly abstract, nearly incomprehensible theater, I strongly caution you against this show. For the average, educated, thoughtful theatergoer, it is far more frustrating than fulfilling. In my opinion, this was the single most disappointing Broadway experience I've ever had - an unfortunate waste of money and, more importantly, of time.
