The Pitt has to be one of the best tv shows ever to be put on television. Just finished episode 13 and yeah...Noah Wylie could make me cry in ER and now he's making me cry in this one.

Is watching what is happening in the U.S right now what it was like watching what was happening in Germany in the years leading up to WW2? Because it kind of feels that way to me.

I've never been more aware of where my groceries come from than I was shopping today. And for any fellow Canadians.....No Name soda crackers are made in the U.S. I always assumed they were a Canadian brand.

just got a robocall from Pierre Poiliere about some rally. It's literally called the Axe the Tax rally. Is that all this guy can talk about? What is he going to do about the environment? Mental Health? Does he have any other plans other than the tax?

Everything happening in the U.S now just sounds so overwhelming for the people living there. Between the fires and the winter storms and the election it must seem too much. I feel bad for everyone going through it.

It's sad that it doesn't surprise me anymore when I hear about a shooting in the U.S. From an outside view it seems like Trump has made it ok to just do things like this. It was always there it just seems that he made it the norm and not unusual.

Did @pierre-polieverer.bsky.social look at Trump and think that was the way to go? It seems like he's trying to be the Canadian version of Trump. Only thing he's missing is "Make Canada Great Again" but the name woul be MCGA so that wouldn't work.

I do not understand why Elon Musk is acting as Vice President when he wasn't elected. Or in a government position at all. You never hear about J.D. Vance in the news here. I feel sorry for everyone in the U.S.
