The schadenfreude from this political comedic disaster may just be enough to make up for all the anger and anxiety. Take heart friends and allies for the midterms are almost upon us

I freed myself from the 9to5 to run an experiment in personal freedom. So far, so nervous, so uncertain but so hopeful. To the dreamers

I’ll make my first New Year’s resolution since becoming an adult. I’ve read and listened to all the books. I’ve experienced some of its joys and pains. Now, I commit!

Jeremy Robinson’s #GoodBoys is getting me through the worst post-workout recovery ever! Don’t remember the last time I chuckled and laughed this much to an audiobook! My aching muscles don’t like it one bit.

We joke all the time that someday we’d also step out in this minus winter and “work out”. So why did she look me dead in the eyes and say yes to an invite for an 8am basketball session with men I barely know! I don’t even play! On a Sunday morning!! Oooo I’m big mad! I need revenge ideas y’all.

I’ve been trying for more than 3 months now. It started slowly perhaps - for the first time I’m in an environment that, I think, challenges every facet of my personality and mind. It’s a nice place to hit bottom. Rock bottom doesn’t look too bad. I only wish I had tears left unshed.

Bad judgment is making a good decision with a sleep-deprived mind. For example, sipping a warm laxative tea at 4am after an all-nighter because a cleanse is always a good idea. I now find myself repeatedly flushing down thoughts of sleeping in on this cold Saturday morning.

Once, I was embarrassed that my father left home with mismatched socks. That memory fleeted by when tugging at my pants my 3 year old demanded an explanation for mine. Daddy will explain in the car. I didn’t but now I’m fixated on remembering when I stopped caring about a drawer of matching socks.

A Holy man once taught his friends a trick to eternal life - love all enemies. He even demonstrated this by allowing some colonizers to murder him. He woke up, smiled and said, “See, that’s how you love your enemies. Go make this viral.” They were convinced and tried their best.

I'm starring at 2 large screens - one displays a half-written innovative solution to a computer problem and the other, bsky. I'm writing this instead of the algorithm because i'm afraid it'll work. I'm afraid the program will run perfectly.

#YuvalHarari 's Nexus is evocative, informative, rousing, and meanders a little but all-together depressing 5 chapters in. I'm committed to finishing it because you got with the AI bit but for fucks sake give me some hope for humanity! Almost reads like an AI's take on our history of bad choices!
