Yeah that's a good point. Kinda had the same problem as Balatro that if you want to really go nuts in the endgame you need to have one of a few specific builds, instead of being able to choose from all the weird and fun options in the game.

If you'd ask me while I'm stuck learning a boss (Last Judge, yeeesh) no, I don't *enjoy* the runs back. But I think they serve an important purpose that contributes to my appreciation of the game as a whole.
(I've also gleamed there are some nasty ones later, so, idk all of it yet)

The boss runs can get rough. Personally, I like them. Because friction & the benefits of repetition & boredom, because stakes when I'm fighting the boss in question, because I don't play many games these days so I've got time for this one, because playing as Hornet is so good.

I haven't figured it out yet but then again, I don't have to! Someday, maybe.
