The absolute stranglehold the Jack Roush owned 16 team had on the Nascar Cup Series from 2004-2008 is thing of legends. And the stars and stripes car had a complete stranglehold on my juvenile brain.

Just absolutely devastated to hear the news about Greg Biffle and his entire family. This one hurts

Look, I'm not saying anything explicit until there are more facts. But a 20s white male with a camo mask driving 17 hours from Wisconsin to shoot up an ivy leauge school that as of right now he has no affiliation with, does not sound reassuring for the safety of this country.

Far left is 100% Jimmy Buffett, which would actually track he'd meet Clinton because he was doing a ton of fundraising/endorsement for Al Gore in 2000.

This is a photo from him at a fundraiser concert in September 2000, raising money for the DNC.

I'm not even against there being a V8 in these. But its painfully clear the entire play here was Stellantis only did it because Trump gutted fuel economy rules. Meaning it's cheaper to just throw the same motor they've used for 15 years than developing a more powerful and more efficient V8 engine.

My favorite one was GM seeing the gas prices rising and deciding the best course of action was to put a 2 stage hybrids motor in the Chevy Tahoe.

With a 6.0 liter V8...

And 20mpg...

Most new cars at the end of the 80s to the early 90s had this medival-ass decapitating rats nest of a moving seatbelt system because manufacturers didn't want to spend money and put airbags in cheaper cars. Historically, safety improvements don't happen unless they're forced by regularion.

GM was somehow both too early with Saturn and too late with it. If it had released in 85 as planned, it would have absolutely ran circles around everyone. Then right when it started gaining it's own fandom of owners, they began homogonizing it because it was taking most of its buyers from Chevy.

My favorite thing about the Halloween episodes was always how strictly in-character every response had to be no matter how insane the story is.
