My latest: A holiday guilty pleasure, especially now.🫣

"The American President": Nostalgia on steroids, dosed with Capra-corn, served up by Rob Reiner
His liberal wet dream of a sane functional presidency is a shameless guilty pleasure.

And math teachers are going, “Why should we bother?”
FOX: If you cut something by 100%, the cost goes down to 0. If you cut it by 600%, the drug companies are actually paying you

LUTNICK: What he's saying is if a drug was $100 and you bring it down to $13, it's down 7 times

F: Not a 600% cut

L: But it's 700% higher price before. It's down 700% now

Trump said last night that he has forced pharmaceutical firms “to slash prices on drugs…by as much as 400, 500 and even 600 percent.”

Which means that not only are drugs now free (100 percent reduction), but the companies are paying US when we pick up prescriptions.

Can’t wait! Are they on Venmo?

Next on Capitol Hill...
"Speaker Johnson, what's your reaction to your president's post about Rob Reiner?"
"I haven't seen it."
"He said Reiner 'passed away' from his anger at Trump."
"I'm deaf in both ears, so I can't hear you."
"We can show it to you."
"I'm blind in both eyes, so I can't read it."

My latest, on a noteworthy anniversary.
25 years ago today, Al Gore didn't yell "RIGGED!" Instead, "I offer my concession."
Happy anniversary to the way things used to be in the country we used to be.

As a GOP activist, Harmeet Dhillon frequently insisted that the federal government has “little to say” about how states run their elections. Now, as head of the Civil Rights Division at the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), she claims the feds have “sweeping” authority to seize state voter rolls.

Man. Man. Camera. Incompetent. Incompetent.

Aced it!
Trump on Tim Walz: "I think the man is a grossly incompetent man. I thought that from the day I watched JD destroy him in the debate. I was saying, 'Who's more incompetent, that man or my man?' I had a man and he had a man. They were both incompetent."

Who could have possibly imagined that a convicted criminal, if elected, would trigger a national and international crime spree?

Not 77 million voters, apparently.

Department of Defense Law of War Manual, Sec. 18.3.2.1 states the "requirement" to refuse illegal orders.

What’s its key example? Wait for it . . . It’s "orders to fire upon the shipwrecked."
