Our Cleric’s honorific is now “Kisser of Dragons”. Thank you so much for such a fun adventure! We went through Windsong Woods too tonight, and they are off to the Shadespear Mountains!

Narunar was defeated, blasted to smithereens by an Spellburn-fueled magic missile from a DCC Wizard that did 85 points of damage. His Henchmen (animated plants and a Bell Golem) were dispatched shortly after. The adventurers then went on to the Windsong Woods to recover a magic sword from a Treant.

He lost his temper at a fan Q&A and told me to Fuck Off outta nowhere, and then bumped into me in a hallway later and told me he wished he could have told me to Fuck Off more. I had no idea where the aggression was coming from and assumed he was just intoxicated and/or confused, and not a bully.

He told me that he wished he could have cussed me out more, but there were cameras rolling, and I was like, "Why? I told you I loved your art and asked about the Immortal Emperor after Mr. Goodman solicited questions at the Artist Q&A. Why would you be mad at all? We're all fans here!"

I've managed artists for large projects as the project manager for AAA games, supervising and collaborating with artists and actors for things like the Saints Row series, The Punisher, Blood of the Werewolf and other titles. I'm used to "quirky" or "crusty" and this was a few abrasive levels beyond.

Doug and I are about the same age and grew up in the same neighborhood going to the same punk shows. I was excited to talk to him about it because I think we were neighbors once and carpooled to a Pavement show with his roommate.
