I'd be happy to show you the google doc and screenshots of what we've generated thus far! The initial one was a bit rough and I'm toying with how generation works but I'm hoping this will help people throw a Mansion Crawl into their Interbellum or/And Cold War era eldritch horror gaming.

iMean the objective is that there could be some logic to it and you have to consider why/how this happened. But I've layered on aspects like templating and anchor rooms and minimum additions to the deck, e.g. there has to be at least one bedroom and one eating room int the whole house/certain flrs.

I mean if any explanation whatsoever was provided but it was at the end of the day a structure that would never be built, or would only be built in the same way the Winchester house was, would you find that an okay thing to either run or play through?

Fellow tabletop map enthusiasts, consider:
You think a place is laid out illogically and it isn't fun. You ask "why is it built this way?" You receive an answer that it is essentially built illogically/riddled with puzzles on purpose (e.g. as a "trial"). How do you feel?

Making a TTRPG is a heartbreaker. This is true even at the base level of "rules-light vibey zine flavor of the month" and only gets more heartbreaking as you scale up, especially as you leave common favorite settings behind and get further away from fantasy dungeoncrawling. It takes a lot from you.
