Hello, I'm just 1 (one) idiot on the internet, drawing maps and playing DnD | 31 | she/they | Studied Role Player | GER/ENG | https://www.instagram.com/thestruppie/
That's so sad to see, I'll never understand why people feel the need to "fix" their own art like that.

The Priory of the Orange Tree (Samantha Shannon)

As a fantasy fan who hates reading fantasy, this was a very nice read. It's nothing genre revolutionizing, with a very predictable ending, but the characters really made me want to stick around & read everything in one go. Another win for sapphics.

The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents (Terry Pratchett)

What a book. I originally wanted to buy it for my little sister, but it's so much darker than I expected. Cried so much reading it and yelled a loud "NO" at a certain point close to the end. One of my Pratchett favorites, instantly.

The Samurai Detectives (Shōtarō Ikenami, transl. Yui Kajita)
Huge disappointment. I picked this up on a whim in the store because I thought it sounded interesting. Instead I had to read about a 60 years old main character that can never fail and is in a relationship with a 19 year old.

The Last Hero (Terry Pratchett)
Had way more fun than I expected with this one, as I've never been a huge fan of Cohen. The illustrations alone made this a great read.

Thief of Time (Terry Pratchett)
A very good book, as I've always been a fan of the concept of the time monks and wanted to see more of them. Funnily enough it made me want to read Momo again.

It's been nice to take up daily reading again this year, I've fallen through on that a bit lately.

Making good progress on my Pratchett project, more than half way through on the Discworld novels. Might take a while, sadly, before I can continue reading the rest.
