Actually a very strong community exists around the park. Dog walkers all chat of a morning, exercise clubs use the hard standing and almost every street has a summer street party. The Herne Hill film festival is legendary. And brewery’s are regularly well used. I know literally 100s of neighbors.

Lots of those are not open access. Like the velodrome, the areas behind churches the Peabody garden, the Dulwich picture gallery garden. Sunray gardens is mostly pond with a playground and Ruskin is nice but up a very steep hill. You’re including Dulwich hamlet training grounds too.

Yeah, but as established it’s 37 days of disruption. It’s really hellish with backed up Lorrie’s, portaloos stinking up the place, bright lights all night long and the beep of reversing, generators running constantly and trucks emptying said portaloos for 30,000 people each day.
