If thinkers like Smith were actually followed, their ideas could’ve scaled with new tech and society.

The problem isn’t that capitalism matured — it’s that it was hijacked, stripped of its ethics, and repurposed to serve corporate power over public good.

With so many forms of Capitalism over the years, I'm not sure anyone knows what we are dealing with now. Some sort of crisis-capitalism rooted in grift.

Love this perspective, especially the part about making financial literacy universal.

Smith saw education, fairness, and moral development as essential to any well-functioning society.

What we now call “economics” was, for him, inseparable from moral philosophy.

2- While our nation may have been born in protest, calling the founding of the U.S. Army a 'protest' would be a severe understatement.

That said, be sure to protest in peace even when they try to stoke agression.
