Even Nigerian princes are better at not awkwardly phrasing their sentences...

I got me $82,000UG for praising one lmfao

They also removed a pigeon from my bank account.

Thing is though

That child-like curiosity doesn't vanish.

It's a permanent fixture in our personalities because that biologically programmed urge to learn is a key part of why we haven't been made extinct.

If anything

It's worse.

No logic and reasoning abilities.

All it can do is infer from a dataset what the outcome of an action should be.

It's also not rare for it to be consistently and confidently incorrect in its inference.

In all fairness

FSD is an addon

If you have a base spec Tesla, it won't have this feature by default.

It is, however, stupid that the FSD system can be set to ignore speed limits.

Gotta love how serviceable those old thin pads are.

I have an R40 and an R50e. Can have them stripped to bare chassis in a matter of minutes!

Other than that -

- he has an onboard AI that passive-aggressively responds to his requests

- he can run DOOM

- has onboard room-temperature quantum computer capabilities

- and has a fully containerized, snapshotted and virtualized OS for the cybernetics.

The CRT is actually something I contemplated with my protogens.

My main proot, Nix, is able to accurately emulate a CRT right down to magnetization of the shadow mask and degaussing

The actual display tech is a tight integration with nanites. Further info is classified.

Had my suspicions since nowhere near popular enough to warrant impersonation

Or someone seeing the impersonator and messaging me lmao

Interesting that that's the route they're taking for social engineering.

Guess "I reported u on accident" just doesn't cut it as much anymore XD

Looks like an Osram / Radium lamp.

Nice!!

(Funnily enough - the last ones were made by Philips in their now closed Hamilton factory)

*cats when their tail twitches, they see it in the corner of their field of view and freak out*

That's cats though.

Our Loki is a brave little scaredy-cat XD

He's fine with people he knows but if someone new tries to pet him while I'm cradling him (like the absolute baby he is XD) he bolts off.

Wusspuss.

There's one thing worse...

Have you ever had to route through a dependency rabbit- hole and manually install ~50+ packages just to get one single package to install?

sudo rm -rf /* is a sweet release from hell in those rare cases.

Ah, yes. The Meridian line

Where you can be both in the past, the future, and have the present running right down your middle bits.

Just be aware coming here on a dinghy would probably have the home office treat you a little better though XD

... To the other side.

The only way to stop it is learning from past failures and learning to be more politically moderate.

You don't have to be a fence sitter

Just don't be a raging activist crackpot!!
October 5, 2025 at 10:58 PM
They probably think they can stop the political pendulum swinging back the opposite direction.

Unfortunately for them - that ain't happening.

When you push your agenda too far it springs back the opposite way as backlash against it starts to form.

Then you get a full inversion and it happens...

Iirc in the USA, transition surgery is an out-of-pocket expense for most since Medicaid doesn't cover it and most if not all medical insurance companies refuse a payout for it

So I have to wonder where the budget crisis actually stems from...
October 1, 2025 at 10:41 PM
Not only is this technically doable

It should also be possible to implement a basic active noise cancelling too!!

If I ever feel my proot head needs that I'll research trying to add it...

Rare protogens and primas are closed species as in their lore they're supposed to be extremely limited in number

Common protogens are a mostly open species that allows for a lot of design variations.

Question is;

Does she have an alternate device for storing FLACs or does she have internal storage and just connects her cybernetics to the BTR5?
September 30, 2025 at 7:12 AM
Ah, yes.

The AI generated failure where kids got a 1/4 cup of lemonade and a single jellybean as a snack

And we were introduced to the lesser spotted meth oompaloompas...

On a side - I'm still in the titration stages, so I use dose skipping to remind me what my baseline mindset is like when. The ADHD isn't being treated.

The differences are absolutely fucking STARK even with how early days it is...

> me getting suspicious of my good performance at work when I'm on my ADHD medications

Only for my suspicions to subside when I do occasional dosage skips...
