I appreciate how Sailor Moon’s first series was that to an extent. At about the half way point, Usagi slowly starts to break down pretty bad.
Hells, Luna being forced to drag her back to it in the first episode of R has her *screaming* and the whole mess with Mamoru in R leaves her all but suicidal.

They could have released a much more sensible sku (say, ran 1080 at a consistent 30, basically a souped up ‘deck) at a much more sensible price proposition that doesn’t decimate their disney adult audience probably a year or two ago.
