It’s gorgeous! My only minor gripe about the graphics is that if you look hard enough in the landscapes, you’ll find some textures that are clearly made for Switch 1 and I think they made the base game for Switch 1 and enhanced it for Switch 2. I really wanted the whole experience made for Switch 2.

It absolutely does not rain super hard here as much as advertised. Just lots of light rain and cloudy/gloomy days. And then some atmospheric rivers every so often.

I got a chance to play for a few hours last night and I got to midnight and I didn’t want to put it down. Pretty much hyper focused on exploration and the beauty of the art style. Can’t wait to play more.

It’s pretty much the best musical in history but also has some of the best on screen dancing you’ll ever see. The talent is kinda mind blowing and you’ll watch it thinking “how did they do that with just a straight camera shot?”

Reading the negative reviews, I’m glad that the series is a little different and trying new things. And I want to find for myself if the new things resonate with me or not. A lot reviews that didn’t like it seem to be entrenched in holding on to canon.

I didn’t think Prime Metroid remastered was a masterpiece so I am more eager and curious for an evolution of the game and not just wanting Prime Metroid remastered with slightly different story and more visual polish.

Such an iconic game! I never beat it! 😂 I really hope Nintendo works on and releases a real 2D side scrolling Legend of Zelda—similar to what they did in the Metroid series with Dread. I would prefer this over the Hyrule Warriors format.

I generally think horror films as a genre are trash, but I like Stranger Things because horror isn’t the central theme. It’s just there to highlight the narrative and give more gravity to the central antagonist of the story.

It’s one of the best directed shows ever so definitely worth checking out to see if you’ll like it for yourself. Good storytelling, excellent cinematography, great effects that don’t feel cheap. It’s like watching a supernatural comic book from the 80s that has horror elements woven into it.
