He also makes sure to carry around some mixed nuts to give to Cass if his aetheric battery is low. He could give him any food item, but since Cass can't taste but feels texture he thought those would be good.

Geras is very much a touchy-feely person and would unconsciously snake his arms or hands around Cassius. Just gentle enough that Cass can walk away easily. Geras does check-ups on Cassius' body thanks to the MCH training he recieved. ---

Another thing Cassius would do is take care of tasks should Geras be pre-occupied with other work.
Cassius also rarely sleeps, but when their feelings grow he moves to lay in bed with Geras too. Usually he's positioned himself to watch the door though. ---

He eventually gets it through the Elezen's skull that he shouldn't shoulder everything, that he needs to share the load to ease the weight. It just... took a bit honestly.

In seriousness, Geras developed a bit of a martyr complex/ "i have to do everything to save everyone and if i die so be it" mentality from when Haurchefant died that Cassius hates. ---

Cassius had parents with overwhelmingly high expectations that he never met and made him be the "perfect" soldier before his brother's experiments to literally make him a super soldier. Geras had a choice to do what he want even with the little money they had, while Cassius had no choice or freedom.

Geras was with Haurchefant, up until... you know. It was ~year of experience, but Geras was scared of getting into a relationship after his death that it took him years to even consider the idea.

Cassius, while on the First, recalled he used to enjoy painting, so during his off-time there and now on the Source he tries his best to re-hone his old skills. Geras cannot paint or draw for the life of him, so he enjoys watching Cassius when he can.

permanently overcharged and they weren't sure if it would affect his fighting (he cannot draw aether to his MCH aetherpack now without overloading it). Cass was overwhelmed with desire that when they got to the Pendents inn room Geras had noticed he was tented up. So he gave him a hand :)---

Geras' fears got the better of him and attempted to push Cassius out (demanding he leave the room), and Cass left frustrated and extremely upset. (I would say this was before Mt. Gulg. With how disastrous their last talk went, Cassius was avoiding Ger until the invasion onto the mountain.)
