Nostalgic sound. Haven’t heard that in a long time. Farewell dial-up. You were an important step to today’s connectivity.

Not me 😀

I think there was a knitted bee or ladybird in each room. I think it was there as an activity for children to find all of the creatures.

Fun day out at this @nationaltrust.org.uk property. Pleased to report that the scones were also delicious.

We picked apples from the orchard - lots of different varieties. The one we gave tried so far is delicious. Also, the walled garden has a new garden area next to it, which has a water fountain.

Courtyard behind the mansion included a wall with window shapes, allowing a view of the sweeping landscape. Large estate, so we walked around lake and saw swans and a heron.

Wonderful staircase in centre, with some above to flood the hall with light. Chance to see costumes from the period.
Mansion. Stairs rise up to the entrance. Columns surround entrance. Brown stone building. Bright blue sky. Standing on stairs in hall, looking down to the doors entering the hall. Looking from the floor, up past the stairs, to see the dome and blue sky. Two figures showing costume designs of the day. One figure is holding a knitted bee.

Went to Berrington Hall today, a National Trust property near Leominster. Great day. Some more photos next.

An image of mine from the distant past - the early 1970s.

Ah, the school episode. It is good. In a difficult topic kinda-way.

10 is probably good - I obviously haven’t been paying attention. 5 days to go 🎉

Finally watched Emmy winning Adolesence on Netflix. 4 episodes showing events unfold. Excellent performances & storytelling. Each episode is all in one take, so technical challenge too & creative shots moving around the different locations. I highly recommend it.

I LOVE the amazing map that Nosy Crow US created for Alice's first adventure and it's amazing to look at this map of Paris and think about how much changed between A Recipe for Trouble and A Spoonful of Spying. Find out how in my latest blog post.

Apple Music appears to have a release date, years before the iMac was released, let alone iTunes / Apple Music was created. On the plus side, one of the tracks from this remastered version is available now. The remastered album will be out sometime soon … around 1985 😀
Screenshot of Apple Music page for Prince, which shows a forthcoming release of a 2025 remastered version of Around the World in a Day, with the release date set to 22 April 1985.

Firstly, did you know that there is an account that reports on the urine tank on the international space station? Well, there is. I followed it out of interest. It is now sending messages frequently. So much so that this is the top of my timeline right now.

Literally taking the …
