like yeah maybe this is all copium, maybe I could be seen as taking things too personally, but I've met so many people over the years that are so passionate about old media, so passionate and sincere about making a new world with the old, that reducing their efforts to "nostalgia" feels criminal

Remembered that last year I decided to try and be more whimsical. And to a degree I think I did, but maybe not as consistently. Maybe I'll carry that to this year too.
