That is correct: Democrats did not enact a federal shield law when they had unified control of Congress, nor did @schumer.senate.gov move the bill in 2024, when he still had control on the floor. www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/202...
It was not a priority for Biden & his party when they had power.

They failed to both assign accountability for systemic, catastrophic failures to prepare our nation for an authoritarian assault on American institutions & democracy, and to light the way forward for what must be done by a Congress and presidency committed to strengthening our union in the future.
