Did you know that the word for “god” is a plural in Biblical Hebrew? אֱלֹהִים (elohim)
We know it's a plural because of the way the word ends. The "-im" sound is the ending that indicates masculine plural nouns - similar to the "-s" ending of some plural words in English, like "dogs"!

As promised, registration for Biblical Hebrew is now open! Aimed at complete beginners, this class is a fantastic introduction to Hebrew - the professor's pretty easy on the eyes, too (it's not sexual harassment if I'm married to him).
