We don’t often get snow in Ireland, but when we do, it’s incredibly beautiful. Along the River Suir, downstream of Kilsheelan.
(thinking of anyone negatively impacted at the moment, like power outages).

Absolutely cracking day out sea kayaking along the Copper Coast. Several pods of dolphins, feeding up & down the coastline. Wonderful to experience.

Antwerpen Central Station, which was originally a terminus station, until they tunnelled new through lines and platforms at a lower depth unrolled the station.
The marriage of ultra modern subterranean versus the old vaulted canopy is amazing.

Comfort on a vessel is influenced by your position relative to its centre of gravity. It’s easy in a sea kayak, as you are sitting at water level & so bob over the swell.
One project has been snapping waves from the kayak.
An innocuous wave in deep water can be gentle, but rise up at shallow water.

Oystercatchers are my favourite coastal bird. I just love their call. They are flighty and tough to capture from a sea kayak. We don’t have the black variety here, so really like seeing your photo. Great image.

Yeah, I find that it is always appreciated, no matter where you do it. A small token, even when the camera is turned on you 🙂

2024 has been the year of nailing the Greenland roll. A lot of practice and support helped.

When travelling, I sometimes use an instant film camera to lengthen the interaction and for both of us to get something from our meeting. This is one of my favourites | Uganda 2014

I’m looking forward to sharing photos, and hoping that we can have conversations way beyond “likes”.

Hi, after several years off social media, I’m making a tentative come back. I’m liking the feeling and community in Bluesky.

One of my favourite photography communities was OK DO THIS. Hoping to reconnect with #ODT friends on here.
