I hope, one day, our entire species can have this feeling inherent to our understanding of life; as a fundamental and innate part of what it means to be a human.

I pray that this, the trauma and fear that we hold now, is all it takes to give us what we need for that to become a reality.

I often ponder what about me or (more likely) the people I've met that makes it possible for me to have turned such profound hurt as to be ceaselessly haunted by the morbidity of it all into understanding and love

And it continues to boil down how exhausting it now is for it to be anything but.
