It's what happened every other time the U.S. interfered in the government of a Latin American country: Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras, Panama, Cuba, Chile, Bolivia, Dominican Republic. U.S. supports or installs a right wing authoritarian leader. Regular folks end up dead. Repeat.

My doc said the same thing to me (high A1C and cholesterol.) I'm thinking, how much healthier can I @#$%^ eat? And then, why doesn't the doc ask me about my diet and lifestyle before telling me to eat more fiber, etc. And then, I nod and say OK and leave the office quietly raging at the world.
