I personally don’t think AI is making the junior developer go away. There will be companies that try doing it that way, but it’s just not sustainable (obviously). What a junior developer does is changing, though.

The new CS50X course by Harvard is a great example of using AI in an impactful way for education. The AI Tutor they created for it is really good stuff.

It’s crazy to have grown up in such a rural community that the only computer classes that were available to take were typing.

But it’s also crazy to currently be living in a time where any class I want to take is available online. Educating yourself has become so much more in reach.

The different layers of abstraction in code is so cool. I think it’s a great example of what happens when we as humans work and build together. What’s possible now would not be without what came before.

Going to start using this as a place to talk about things I’m passionate about. Mainly technology (specifically AI). I’m doing this as a way to both help me better understand the topics I am learning and hopefully along the way, meet some other people doing the same. Say hi if that’s you! #AI #tech
