Not sure who needs to hear this, but any govt official who violates someone's constitutional rights -- and is acting outside the scope of their lawful authority -- can be PERSONALLY liable in a civil suit.

The Senate cannot give up its own power. Demand proper vetting, background checks, and clearances for every single one of Trump's nominees. If they can't pass that most basic check and balance of our Constitution they shouldn't serve. Don't call yourself a Constitutionalist if you won't follow it.
